Cancellations and Refunds

We are committed to helping you and your organization become the best version. With a lifetime retake policy, access to course recordings for six months and the latest resources available for you, we are here to help you get to the next step. Sometimes life or work gets in the way of your professional development and training plan. Below are the New Horizons Learning Group terms and conditions for rescheduling and cancellations. 

If you need to reschedule or cancel a course please contact as as soon as possible to avoid any penalties:

 Open Enrollment Cancellation/Reschedule Policy

Notify New Horizons and/or your Account Executive immediately to avoid penalties if changes need to be made.

All sales are final and non-refundable. Clients and students acknowledges that all students meet the course prerequisites, have read the course outline and, if applicable, exam objectives.

Ten (10)  business day notice is required to reschedule open enrollment classes with no additional fees. In case of No-Show or Cancellation less than ten 10 business days before class date, client may take advantage of our re-take policy (Third-Party class re-takes vary). 

If course enrollment was paid with coupons or learning credits they will be deducted. If Microsoft Software Assurance Training Vouchers were redeemed they will be forfeited.

 Red Hat Cancellation/Reschedule Policy

Red Hat reschedule policy dictates that client may reschedule a class or exam up to 14 calendar days prior to the class start date for classes or the exam date for exams. New class date must be given at time of reschedule, and class must be completed within one (1) year of original invoice date.

  Microsoft Software Assurance Training Voucher (SATV) Cancellation/Reschedule Policy

When using any of the above as payment for a class, student must activate their digital courseware prior to the last day of class, as well as ensure that each voucher is still valid, or else the customer company will be invoiced for the full retail price of the class and the vouchers will be returned.

If class is paid for using Microsoft Software Assurance Training Vouchers (SATVs), ten (10) business days' notice is required to reschedule without additional fees.

In case of a no-show or cancellation with less than ten (10) business days' notice, 100% of class price ($595 per day per student) will be due according to date of original invoice or date of Term Net 30. Any coupons used will not be returned to the coupon pool. If a seat license was used, the client will forfeit those days. For premium classes, multiple coupons will be pulled.

Students are allowed up to One (1) reschedule per class up until 48-hours before course start date. Any reschedules after that point will incur a processing fee equal to 50% of the published course price (MSRP). The new session date must be given at the time of the reschedule notification and rescheduled classes must be taken within six-months of original invoice date.

 Standby
  • If a student is 15 minutes late, they risk losing their seat to a standby student.
  • If a student is 30 minutes late or more, they will need to reschedule. A no-show fee will apply.
  • Retakes are enrolled as a Stand-By. The student must bring previously issued courseware, and additional fees may apply (LMS fee, LOD fee, etc.)
  • Open enrollment classes are subject to change.
 Dedicated Class, Onsite Class, or Room Rent Cancellation/Reschedule Policy

Dedicated Classes, Onsite Classes or Room Rentals Cancellation/Reschedule Policy - If rescheduled with no fewer than fifteen (15) business days before scheduled date, an administration fee of 10% will be added to the purchase amount. 

Cancellations or reschedules within fifteen (15) business days of scheduled event will require 100% of the fee to be paid again for a private event. Customer is able to take open enrollment, if offered, at no charge.

Dedicated Classes or Onsite Classes: Each additional student beyond the agreed upon terms will be billed at $100 per student per day for applications classes and $400 per student per day for technical classes.

  Online Anytime (OLA) Cancellation/Enrollment Policy

Online ANYTIME (OLA): OLA keys are activated upon receipt of payment and valid for one year. Once a key has been activated, it cannot be cancelled. Keys are valid ONLY for the individual on the invoice; they are NON-TRANSFERABLE. Class enrollment begins on the date of invoice and ends twelve (12) months from invoice date.

 General Policies

Failure to pay will result in cancellation of any current and future company enrollments and the case will be sent to collections.

Coupons are valid for 12 months from invoice date, and are non-transferable.

Clubs are limited to the individual on the invoice, are non-transferable and start on the date of invoice.

Premium classes will have multiple coupons pulled for enrollment.

The client understands that signed order agreements shall be an agreement between New Horizons and their company, and as a qualified signature for said company, is responsible for the tuition, and shall make all personnel/employees aware that refunds will be made to the company. All reasonable discounts per New Horizons are void if portions of the above training are cancelled. New Horizons guarantees only those services set forth in the agreement.

Client agrees not to hire any New Horizons employee for (1) year after the completion of the training ordered on an Order Agreement. In the event client breaches this provision, client agrees to pay New Horizons, as liquidated damages, an amount to 40% of the annual salary of the person hired.

 Employment Training Panel

Instructor-led with Certified Instructor includes courseware and labs. If student does not receive full amount of training (8 hours of training per day), the customer owes NH full retail open enrollment.

This also includes, leaving class early, leaving the company prior to 90 days post training, or no- showing to training. Students must meet the ETP eligible wage requirement as well. Failure to do so will result in full retail billing as well. New Horizons must receive a copy of a credit card to keep on file should any of these events take place.

If cancelled no fewer than 15 business days before scheduled date, administration fee of 10% will be added to purchase amount. If cancelled fewer than 15 business days in advance of scheduled date, 100% of class price will be due according to date of originally scheduled class, and customer will be allowed to purchase another class date.

If the clients needs to reschedule the date of class prior to the 15 day cancel/reschedule window, we will honor one date change at no charge. For the second and thereafter changes, there will be $500 per day charge of training rescheduled.

If a company buys 10 events at one time in the MS Office category, we will give all events that have 15 people for free. In the event that the company cancels any of the scheduled classes, they will be billed at $3000 per day, regardless of normal cancellation policy.

If less than 15 people show up to the scheduled class, or students who are not eligible attend the course, the company will be billed at full retail for the missing or non-qualified students.

All charges above will be automatically charged to the credit card we have on file.

 Refund Policy

It is New Horizons Learning Group’s policy that all sales are final.
