Azure Role-Based Training - Training the Way you Want to Train

Cloud deployment is a necessity for a modern organization of any size. Microsoft Azure is an ever-expanding set of cloud services that helps your business meet today’s unique challenges by providing a world-class product. But training is the key to getting the most out of your Azure investment. The question is, what kind of training is best? The answer is, that depends on you.

New Horizons Learning Group recognizes that not everyone learns the same or needs the same kind of training to achieve the desired results. With the new Microsoft Azure role-based certification scheme powered through New Horizons, you choose how you want to learn, when you want to learn, and where you want to learn.

Choose the best fit for your schedule and your learning style!

Instructor-led Training creates the atmosphere needed to be able to truly focus on and learn the material without distractions that come from self paced eLearning. IT teams and department staff typically learn more effectively together when in an instructor-led program. This shared environment fosters mutual support and enhanced collaboration. Taking a team-building approach gives your company added benefits that go beyond the class itself. You can take In Live Instructor Led and Online Training at any of our New Horizons Locations. Take any of the following through our award-winning live, virtual training led by a certified Microsoft Trainer.

Retiring Azure Exams & Certifications

The current Azure certification that have been providing the Azure focused core to the MCSA: Cloud Platform and MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure certification paths are going to be retired December 31, 2018. However, the MCSA and MCSE certifications are not being retired, but rather transformed instead.

The following Azure related certification exams are going to be retired December 31, 2018. If you are studying for these exams, then you’ll want to switch gears toward the new exams, or pass them by the end of the year.

  • 70-532: Developing Microsoft Azure Solutions
  • 70-533: Implementing Microsoft Azure Solutions
  • 70-535: Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions

As a result of retiring the above Azure focused certification exams, the existing / old MCSA and MCSE certifications based on them are also being retired. As a result, the following larger Azure focused certifications are being retired on December 31, 2018 as well.

  • MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure
  • MCSA: Linux on Azure
  • MCSA: Cloud Platform

Transition Exams

Individuals who previously passed Exam 70-532, 70-533, or 70-535 should take the appropriate transition exam instead. The transition exam covers the delta between the current certification and what we expect people who earn the new certification to be able to do.

The transition exams are as follows:

  • Exam AZ-102: Microsoft Azure Administrator Certification Transition. The exam is for those who’ve previously passed Exam 70-533. Exam AZ-102 retires 6/30/19
  • Exam AZ-202: Microsoft Azure Developer Certification Transition. The exam is for those who’ve previously passed Exam 70-532. Exam AZ-202 retires 6/30/19
  • Exam AZ-302: Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Certification. The exam is for those who’ve previously passed Exam 70-535. Exam AZ-302 retires 6/30/19

What Our Students Say About Azure Training and Certifications

"I want to thank you for the training New Horizons has provided the Information Service’s Network Operation Center (NOC) of Loma Linda University Medical Center. The team will use the training to accomplish the goal of becoming Microsoft Certified Professionals. This is the first training effort, in partnering with your company, that will be used by the NOC to increase its ability to identify and bring resolution to issues in the hospital’s IT infrastructure that could interfere with the delivery of patient care. I anticipate this being a long and beneficial relationship for us both."
