Early Career Acceleration Program

What is ECAP?

As part of our ongoing commitment to technology, education and community, we have launched a scholarship program for Nevada’s future technology leaders called the Early Career Acceleration Program (ECAP). The program is a solutions based scholarship, philanthropy, and economic stimulator available through our Nevada locations and serving the Nevada community.

Scholarships - Businesses and enterprises that purchase training through New Horizons automatically are donating scholarships to local students based on select criteria outline below.

Local Economy - It can be costly to outsource talent out of state. By a business simply choosing New Horizons as a training provider for their current staff, they are helping train and certify the future talent of Nevada and their next new hires.

There are benefits for everyone along the path of the program. Read more about these benefits below.

Individuals between the ages of 18-26 residing in the state of Nevada are encouraged to apply here for a certification scholarship. We are currently offering scholarships for training in CompTIA A+, Network+ and Security+.

What is the Application Process?

  1. Online application
  2. Brief phone interview
  3. Individual interviews
  4. Acceptance notifications
  5. Enrollment confirmations

Certification courses run year round. If awarded an ECAP Scholarship, you will be able to choose the course dates that best fit your schedule.

You make a difference where you work; why not make a difference in your community?

If you are ready to purchase training from New Horizons you've already made the first step at participating in the ECAP program.

The next step is simple: purchase your training!

New Horizons Learning Group is committing to contributing 5% of every business sale to fund these scholarships. Through your training purchase you are participating in a larger mission to help raise Nevada youth up to the standards of education that you would like to see in the local job pool.
